Matrescence: The Evolution of You
Motherhood changes you—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Whether you’re newly postpartum or years in, understanding matrescence (the transformation into motherhood) helps you navigate your shifting identity with more compassion and clarity.
Understanding & Regulating Your Nervous System
Motherhood can be overstimulating and exhausting. We’ll explore simple, science-backed ways to calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and build resilience—so you can respond instead of react, even in the chaos. This session often includes active yoga practices.
Mom Rage & The Guilt Spiral
You’re not alone if you find yourself snapping, shutting down, or caught in a loop of frustration and guilt. Rage can be outward towards your children, partner or other loved ones, or inward to yourself (or both!). We’ll unpack the emotional load of motherhood, why these feelings arise, and how to shift from reactivity to self-compassion. This session often includes active yoga practices.
Creating Your Own Motherhood Pattern
We all carry stories from our own childhood—some we want to pass on, others we’d rather leave behind. This session is about recognizing what shaped you, healing old wounds, and consciously creating the kind of motherhood that feels right for you (not just what you were taught).
Letting Go of Doing It All
The pressure to be everything to everyone is real—but it’s also unsustainable. This session is about rewriting expectations, setting boundaries, and finding freedom in imperfection. This session often includes restorative yoga and guided relaxation practices.
Releasing the Mental Load
If your brain feels like an endless to-do list, you’re carrying too much. We’ll look at tangible ways to share, simplify, and release the invisible workload that keeps you up at night.
Caring for Yourself Without Guilt
Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. This session is about reclaiming space for yourself in ways that feel nourishing, not like another task on your list. This session often includes restorative yoga and guided relaxation practices.
Moving Forward with Intention
Motherhood is always evolving, and so are you. In our final session, we’ll reflect on your growth, integrate the tools that support you, and create a plan for moving forward with more confidence, connection, and ease.
